Calling all kids, tweens, and teens! The 2020 Summer Reading Story Challenge is here!
Write a story that encourages reading while including the words “Phone,” “Pizza,” “Plants,” and “Pants.” The story can be up to two pages, and can include words, pictures, or a combination of both.
Do you want a chance for your story to be featured in TikTok star Chaz Bruce’s video for the library? Here’s how to enter!
The contest is open to kids and teens up to age 18. Younger participants may enlist the help of an adult caregiver, as long as the ideas and wording belong to the participant. Email your completed story to Amy.Holland@libraryweb.org by June 5th, 2020.
Chaz Bruce will read the winning entry at the beginning of his Summer Reading video for the library. Other outstanding entries may be featured on our social media and/or website.
Good luck, and happy writing!
