Harper Lee, the author of the beloved novel To Kill A Mockingbird, died this morning. She was 89.

To Kill A Mockingbird was named the “Best Novel of the 20th Century” by Library Journal and it’s one of those books that almost everyone picks up at some point during their life.

There’s really nothing else to say, but this article at The New York Times includes an interesting look back at her life.
