The Classic Book Discussion Group will read Wuthering Heights, the acclaimed (and only) novel written by Emily Bronte, for their meeting in August:

BOOK DESCRIPTION: A classic story of love and revenge: Mr. Earnshaw takes young Heathcliff, an impoverished boy, into his home on the Yorkshire moors in 1801. As Heathcliff grows and slowly falls in love with Mr. Earnshaw’s daughter, Catherine, he commences a series of questionable and vindictive exploits that prove to have implications for generations to come.

An in-person discussion of Wuthering Heights will be held on Thursday, August 24, at 3:00 PM. No registration is required to attend.
