Did you know that Rochester is a great place to discover a new brewery?
Will Cleveland, a Rochester native and former investigative reporter for the Democrat & Chronicle, has been covering the western New York beer scene since 2014… first for the paper and now through a weekly newsletter. During his time chronicling beer, the local beer scene in Rochester has grown to 26 breweries throughout Monroe County (including 14 within the city limits)!
Cleveland will provide a historical deep dive into Rochester beer in The State of Rochester Suds: The History and Future of the Scene, which will be held at the library (and viewable online) on Monday, October 16, at 7:00 PM. He will also provide predictions about the future of beer in Rochester and answer audience questions.
