Stanley Tucci has appeared in more than 100 films and dozens of television roles, so you’ve surely seen him in something. He’s popped up in Big Night, The Devil Wears Prada, The Hunger Games series, and even (briefly) in Captain America: The First Avenger.

He is also an accomplished writer, and in 2021 he wrote a memoir, Taste: My Life Through Food. The Iron Book Discussion Group will dig in to Taste at their meeting in November 2023

*****

BOOK DESCRIPTION: Stanley Tucci grew up in an Italian American family that spent every night around the kitchen table. Taste is a reflection on the intersection of food and life, filled with anecdotes about his growing up in Westchester, New York; preparing for and shooting the foodie films Big Night and Julie & Julia; falling in love over dinner; and teaming up with his wife to create meals for a multitude of children. Each morsel of this gastronomic journey through good times and bad, five-star meals and burned dishes, is as heartfelt and delicious as the last.
