The Irondequoit Art Club’s Artist Lecture Series is back at the library for 2024, and we’ll kick things off on Tuesday, February 27, at 7:00 PM, with a presentation about Gouache Painting from Victoria Brzustowicz.

Gouache Painting, also known as opaque watercolor, is a paint that is popular to use for posters, illustrations, comics, and other design work.

Victoria Brzustowicz knew from an early age that art was her calling. She is a member of the Rochester Art Club, as well as the co-founder and current chair of Greater Rochester Plein Air Painters. She teaches at The Art Stop and Flower City Art Center, and has previously taught plein air workshops for Cummings Nature Center and Main Street Arts in Clifton Springs.

Her work has been exhibited at the MAG Finger Lakes Exhibition, through Rochester Art Club, Pastel Society of Western New York, and Penfield Art Association, and at plein air festivals in the area. You can view more of her work on her website, VictoriaBCreative.com.

No registration is required to attend the Irondequoit Art Club’s Artist Lecture Series, and we hope you’ll be able to join us!
