Terry Mulee and Lisa Wemett will join us on Friday, March 22, at 3:00 PM, for Lighthouses and Lobsters: A Travelogue of A Week DownEast.

The DownEast and Acadia region of Maine offers plenty of lobster, a delicacy craved by many and fished by a hardy few. But more than one-third of the state’s lighthouses also dot the coastline here, and Mount Desert Island is home to the only National Park in New England.

You can also cruise the harbors watching for wildlife, hike rugged trails and gradually sloped carriage roads, or drive the 27-mile Park Loop Road and be awed by the setting sun on the top of Cadillac Mountain. Finally, our presenters will show their exploration of the beauty and rich history of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

If you’d like to attend this travelogue, please register now through our Event Calendar.
