The program begins at 7:00 PM and the groups will share a Soda Bread Making Demonstration, a Traditional Irish Music Session, a Historical Presentation, and an Irish Step Dance Demonstration.

A Siamsa: An Irish Evening of Entertainment

Irish heritage organizations in Monroe county would like you to enjoy a variety of authentic Irish entertainment. Known in Ireland as a Siamsa (Shee-am-sah), it includes traditional cultural music, dancing, and historical stories. Please join us in commemorating the city of Rochester’s and county of Monroe’s declaration of Irish American Heritage Month. Sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
