Members from the Monroe County Department of Health’s Project IMPACT will join us at the library on Wednesday, May 29, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM to offer Community Narcan Training.

Also known as Naloxone, Narcan is used to reverse an opioid overdose and save a life. Participants can drop in anytime during the program to watch a demonstration on how to administer Narcan and receive a free Narcan Kit.

Narcan Kits are available in hundreds of boxes throughout Monroe County (including at the Irondequoit Library), and you can find the nearest box using a map on MonroeCounty.gov.
