The Irondequoit Art Club will welcome several members from the Print Club of Rochester for the next presentation in their Artist Lecture Series on Tuesday, May 27, at 7:00 PM.

The Print Club of Rochester is an organization devoted to preserving and exploring the fine art of printmaking and prints, and three of their members will present a lecture on Prints, Prints, Prints for the public:

— Madeline Corsaro runs an art studio at The Cheshire Union where she teaches workshops and manages the shop for 100+ Finger Lakes artisans. Madeline creates monotypes, which is a form of printmaking much like painting where ink is painted onto an uncarved plate and printed to create a one-of-a-kind image.

— Chris Charles is a printmaker, designer, and educator based in Rochester, NY. In 2009, she stumbled upon letterpress printing and founded Moon Rabbit Press in 2010.

— Elaine Cohen is a Rochester artist specializing in printmaking and various painting mediums including encaustic, gouache, watercolor, and oil pastel. She currently works out of a studio in the Refinery, utilizing relief and etching presses.

No registration is necessary to attend this lecture, so please join us if you can.
