There’s so much to do at the library this Summer! Stop by anytime we’re open to enjoy these “Anytime Activities”:
60 Books by Sixth Grade
School-age kids are invited to read classic titles in children’s literature, with prizes awarded at each grade level.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers are invited to participate in this early literacy-boosting program, with prizes for every 100 books read.
Awesome Station
Each week there will be a different set of quick and easy activities inspired by Kid President to make the world a little more awesome.
Coloring Center
Kids can de-stress and show their creativity with some good old-fashioned coloring, available at the Reference Desk in the Children’s Library.
Family Make-Believe
Visit the Activity Room for an imaginative play experience with rotating themes… including a restaurant, post office, and more!
Mindfulness Moments
Take a stroll around the Children’s Library to discover a variety of mindful moments that will help kids feel calm and focused – anytime, anywhere.
Mystery Mosaic
Find clues and earn stickers to help reveal the mystery image in the Children’s Library!
