Do you have a closet full of children’s clothing that your kids have outgrown? Bring them to the Irondequoit Library and share them with families in our community!

With assistance from the Irondequoit Community Cupboard, we’ll be hosting a Children’s Clothing Exchange on Saturday, September 27, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Families are welcome to simply donate unwanted clothing and shoes, exchange clothing that is too small for larger sizes, or take clothing without providing a donation.

Clothing donations can also be dropped off in the large bin by the stairs in our Atrium anytime the library is open between Saturday, September 20, and Friday, September 26. We are looking for unwanted, washed, and gently-used clothes sized for newborns through children in 5th grade, as well as children’s shoes, boots, and jackets. Donations will also be accepted on the day of the clothing exchange.

We hope you’ll be able to join us for this great community event.
