The Irondequoit Community Cupboard is in desperate need of food items. For years, our patrons have made the Irondequoit Library the Irondequoit Community Cupboard’s #1 dropoff point for food donations, and here is a list of their most needed items for October 2025:
— Mashed Potato Pouches
— Flavored Pasta Side Packets
— Canned Chili, Stew, or Hash
— Canned Pineapple and Applesauce
— Canned Carrots and Mixed Vegetables
— Hamburger Helper
— Coffee
— Shampoo
— Toothpaste
— Menstrual Products
— Canned Cat Food and Canned Dog Food
— Also, it is getting colder out so if you have any gently used adult winter coats (size XL, XXL, and larger) we would appreciate it. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any dry clean only or leather coats.
Items for donation may be brought to the library anytime we’re open and placed in the Irondequoit Community Cupboard bin located next to the front door.
