The library will welcome back Dan Reardon on Monday, November 17, for Delights Along the Danube with Dan Reardon.

This travelogue will feature photos and stories about the Danube, Europe’s second-longest river, which flows for 1,770 miles from its source in Germany to its mouth at the Black Sea. The river is a popular destination for river cruises and is famously the subject of Johann Strauss’s “The Blue Danube” waltz.

Reardon’s presentation will explore this beautiful waterway as it winds from Nuremberg in Germany through Austria and on to Budapest, Hungary. Stops in a few quaint villages along the river and a side trip to Prague, the capital of Czech Republic, will also be part of the travelogue.

Delights Along the Danube with Dan Reardon will be held on Monday, November 17, at 7:00 PM. If you’d like to attend, please register now through our Event Calendar.

This program was made possible through funds provided by the American Rescue Plan Act.
