The Genesee Country Village & Museum will bring the museum to you when they visit the library on Wednesday, March 4, at 10:30 AM for Genesee Country Village & Museum Presents Sap, Syrup, and Sugar.

Children (ages 2-5) will be able to explore the sweet history and science behind maple sugar and syrup production from early America to present-day commercial production. They’ll also learn how to identify a maple tree and try their hand at tapping a tree. For the grand finale, children will discover how sap is turned into sugar or syrup and taste the finished product.

If you’d like to attend this program, please register now through our Event Calendar.
