Attention audiobooks fans! You can now find Playaways for adult readers on the shelves at the Irondequoit Library.
A Playaway is a small, portable, all-in-one device pre-loaded with a single audiobook. Requiring no internet access, downloads, or extra players, it features a headphone jack, simple playback controls, and operates on one AAA battery. They are ideal for travel and screen-free listening.
New Playaways can be found in our New section on the first floor, while older titles are available in the audiobook section on the second floor.
Hundreds of titles are currently available, and you can browse all of them through our Online Catalog.
