Please join us in welcoming Erie Canal Museum staff for Across the Canal, a program that delves into our national and local history through the lens of the Erie Canal.

In the last 200 years, New York, and indeed the nation, has been immensely transformed by the Erie Canal. But how? And what would Governor DeWitt Clinton have seen two centuries ago and how have the communities along his namesake Ditch changed in that time? All these questions (and more) will be answered!

Across the Canal with the Erie Canal Museum will be held on Thursday, July 30, at 7:00 PM. If you’d like to attend, please register now through our Event Calendar.

This program was made possible through funds provided by the American Rescue Plan Act.
