Instructors from Flower City Arts Center will join us at the library for a four-session workshop to teach older teens and adults (ages 16 and up) the basics of film editing!
If you’re interested in learning how to edit video, this workshop will teach you how to import footage, structure an edit, manage audio, and choose the right settings to export your project using DaVinci Resolve software. Students will get the chance to edit and work with raw video clips to learn and understand the workflow of a typical edit and gain an understanding of editing theory. Laptops and editing software will be provided.
The Film Editing Boot Camp with Flower City Arts Center will begin on Monday, August 3, at 6:00 PM. Additional classes in the series will be held on August 4 – August 6. This workshop is presented in memory of Philip D. Sacco. Philip was a dedicated employee for the Town of Irondequoit, and an independent filmmaker known as Joe Black.
