Craft supplies taking up too much room? Looking for a new hobby to try? Donate materials and then join us for a free exchange of craft, art, and sewing supplies!
We’ll be hosting an IPL Craft Supply Swap on Saturday, September 26, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. But first, we need some supplies to swap!
Donations of craft supplies will be accepted from now until Friday, September 25. Please drop donations off in the marked donation bin in our lobby. Library staff will be happy to show you where it is if you can’t find it!
All unclaimed items will be donated to our community partners.
Donations Accepted
Yarn, fabric, knitting and crochet supplies, sewing notions, craft and fine art paint and brushes, crafting kits, scrapbooking paper and supplies, sewing and quilting tools, buttons, pencil and marker sets, beads and jewelry making supplies, and craft/fiber arts books!
Donation Guidelines
— All donations must be clean and free of stains and odors. NO smoke, mold, mildew, or pests! Please check for the safety of our library.
— Art supplies should be at least half full and in useable condition.
— Fabric should be folded flat with no pins.
— Materials can be in bags, boxes, or bins.

The doors to the IPL Craft Supply Swap will open on Saturday, September 26. Patrons are invited to browse, claim items, and meet other artists and crafters! The IPL Craft Supply Swap is first come, first serve, and the availability of materials is not guaranteed.
Regardless of donations, all patrons are welcome to join us and participate in the swap!
