LawNY Healthcare Navigators are still available to help you and your family explore health insurance options and enroll in coverage through the New York State of Health Marketplace (NYSOH).
The Navigators are not travelling for work currently, but are able to accept appointments by phone. Register through our Online Calendar to talk to a Navigator on an upcoming date (April 17th, May 15th, or June 19th), or email irondequoit@libraryweb.org with your name and phone number and a Navigator can call you at a convenient time.
Please have the following items available during the phone call: Photo ID, proof of income in the form of the most recent four weeks worth of paystubs (if self employed, previous year’s tax return), immigration or naturalization papers (if applicable), and social security numbers and birth dates of all family members.
Also note that individuals aged 65 or older, and individuals who receive Medicare, are generally not eligible for insurance on the Marketplace.
