The Friends of the Irondequoit Public Library board has collaborated with RochesterWorks! to offer three employment-readiness workshops at the Pauline Evans Branch.

Please register for one, two, or all three workshops by the dates listed below.

Basic Resume Workshop:
Tuesday, February 7th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
**Register by Friday, February 3rd.**
Write a resume that will get you noticed! Workshop participants will learn about the most important piece in a resume, how to properly state an objective, how to identify and state accomplishments that demonstrate skills, and common resume mistakes and how to avoid them. Easy-to-use templates will be provided so you can start writing this important document.

Interviewing Beyond the Basics Workshop:
Tuesday, February 14th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
**Register by Friday, February 10th.**
Be prepared for your next interview! In this workshop, participants will learn what to expect in an interview and how to best showcase qualifications for a competitive edge, how to increase confidence in interviews, proper preparation and what should be brought to an interview, strategies for answering most interview questions and how to answer difficult questions, and the best following up techniques.  

Job Search Management:
Tuesday, February 21st from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
**Register by Friday, February 17th.**
Just getting started with the job search? Frustrated or overwhelmed? Sign up for this workshop and learn how to proactively search for jobs to increase your productivity! This workshop will provide participants with ideas on how to develop a solid and diverse plan of attack for the job search, useful tools and tips, an overview of how to use LinkedIn, and how to make the best use of time.
