A replay of Introduction to the Antiracist Curriculum Project is now available on our YouTube channel.
If you’d like to learn more about PathStone Foundation’s Antiracist Curriculum Project, please join us for an online presentation from Shane Wiegand, the Antiracist Curriculum Co-Lead at the PathStone Foundation:
Our team is committed to empowering students, teachers, and educational leaders with instructional resources on the local history of structural racism and civil rights in Monroe County. We support students and educators in the co-creation, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum that will allow students to explore and interpret our local history through rich primary sources.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to experience some of our curriculum, learn about the impact of racist policy on the Town of Irondequoit, hear the stories of those who fought back, offer feedback, and ask questions.
This presentation is co-sponsored by E.R.A.S.E. (Eliminating Racism And Seeking Equity) and is being offered in conjunction with the West Irondequoit School District.
Introduction to the Antiracist Curriculum Project will be broadcast on our Facebook page on Tuesday, April 6, at 7:00 PM.
