Happy 4th of July! The Irondequoit Library will be closed all three days this long weekend in observance of the holiday:
- Saturday, July 3
- Sunday, July 4
- Monday, July 5
Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, July 6.
The Town of Irondequoit will once again host an Independence Day Celebration this weekend, with the following events scheduled for Sunday:
- 8:00 AM/8:30 AM – 2 Mile Fun Run/10K Race
- 11:00 AM – Independence Day Parade on Cooper Rd. and Titus Ave.
- 1:00 PM – Reading of the Declaration of Independence on Town Hall Steps
- 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Concert by John Akers and Food Trucks on the Town Hall’s West Lawn
- Dusk (Approximately 9:30 PM) – Fireworks Display at Town Hall
