The Pauline Evans Branch Yarn Club will be collecting handmade blankets to donate to the at Rochester General Hospital. “The Child Life Program at Rochester General Hospital seeks to make the hospital experience a positive one for our pediatric patients.” (from Child Life Program website)
Guidelines for Blankets:
- Suggested size of approximately 3 x 4 feet.
- Any kind of homemade blanket is welcome: knit, crochet, fleece, afghan, quilt.
- Due to allergies/asthma, wool and other animal fibers cannot be accepted.
- Please wash without fabric softener, dry and store in a sealed plastic bag.
- Use your favorite pattern or try one of these knit or crochet patterns.
- Please bring your blankets to the library by March 26.
