Kristina started out her life as a perfect person. A good student, never in any trouble and a talented person. Then she gets involved with drugs (crank) and she calls herself “Bree”. The monster or crank takes over Kristina’s world and she has to fight to save her life. I enjoyed the book and I learned from it also. I got to see what a person’s life is like on drugs and how much a drug can control someone. It was scary to read this book and think that people actually live like that but it made me realize I never want to live that way.

Bernie and Winifred were always outcasts. They are proud that they are unique. Since they were 14 they’ve been inseparable. That changes when Winifred goes to college in California. Winifred changes and so does their relationship. It will never be the same. This books is good for people who are heading off to college or finishing up high school. It’s nice because it’s a real life situation, not just a fairy tale.

But while their mission is in progress, the Yuuzhan Vong are moving on Coruscant. This book is splendidly written and kept my attention for hours.
