As we near the holidays and wake up to the snow that fell overnight, it acutely brings forth the desire to offer what we can to help others in need. I think there’s just about nothing better than a warm, wholesome meal on a cold day. By donating to the Irondequoit Community Cupboard this holiday season, or at any time of the year, individuals are ensuring that the Cupboard receives enough to adequately distribute food throughout our community.

Non-perishable items can be dropped off at the Evans branch of the Irondequoit Public Library during open hours. The location at Evans for donations is near the front windows, in a box on the floor. If you need assistance in finding the location, please ask a staff member.

Among the Cupboard’s Top Ten List are tea, coffee, cereal (hot & cold), chunky canned soups, canned fruit, pasta sauce, and macaroni and cheese. All donations will be gratefully received!
