The Rochester and Finger Lakes Region Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will offer a Caregiver Support Group at the Irondequoit Library beginning September 13 at 6:00 PM. After that, the group will meet at the library every second Wednesday of the month.

Alzheimer’s Association Support Groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for people living with dementia and their care partners to…

— Develop a support system
— Exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions
— Talk through issues and ways of coping
— Share feelings, needs, and concerns
— Learn about community resources

Please call the Alzheimer’s Association at 1-800-272-3900 to learn more about this program, or to register.
