Retro video games will invade the Irondequoit Public Library in August! Presented by Friends of the Irondequoit Public Library, with support from Pizza Wizard and Knox Amusements.
Join us on Friday, August 7, for a special afterhours fundraising event from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
Pop-Up Arcade and Pizzeria will feature free classic and contemporary arcade games, live music, and a market with local artists, crafters, and food vendors.
Featuring live musical performances by shy tooth, Fuzzrod, and The Offbeats. And pizza from Pizza Wizard will be for sale on site!
Admission is $10 (or pay what you can), and all proceeds support library programs and services. Tickets are available through an Online Form with limited tickets available at the door.
We’ll also have offerings from excellent local vendors, including Scar Markham, The Vintage Aesthetic, Alex Frank, Laurel Forest, Lucky Frog, Nutmegs, Love Fern, and Jacob Walsh.
Also join us the next day on Saturday, August 8, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, for a FREE family-friendly event that will appeal to gamers of all ages!
Family Video Game Day will feature arcade games set to freeplay, as well as foosball, Skee Ball, air hockey, pinball, and more! Attendees will also be able to play retro video game consoles like the NES, Super NES, and Sega Genesis on our large projection screens.
