The Town of Irondequoit and the American Red Cross will be hosting a Blood Drive at the Irondequoit Library on Thursday, February 26, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
To schedule an appointment to give blood, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and search for Sponsor Code IrondequoitCommunity.
If you are an eligible type O, B Negative, or A Negative donor, the Red Cross says you can maximize your blood donation and help more patients with a Power Red donation. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component.
You can also streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of your appointment.
Everyone who gives blood between January 26th and February 28th will receive a $20 e-gift card from the Red Cross.
