The Irondequoit Public Library’s Community Reflections project amplifies diverse voices in our community through programs and book displays. This month, we’re highlighting Women’s History with three special programs and a selection of books hand-picked by our librarians.

Women’s History Month Storytime!
Wednesday, March 20, at 10:30 AM
Join Ms. Sarah and Miss Amy for a special storytime celebrating Women’s History Month! Stick around after storytime to participate in a community art project highlighting iconic women from around the world. For children 2-5 with their caregiver

Women’s Expo
Thursday, March 21, at 4:00 PM
Celebrate Women’s History Month at the Women’s Expo on March 21st, 4-7 PM at the Town Hall Market Shed, hosted by Irondequoit Recreation and the Irondequoit Public Library. Explore inspiring local businesses owned by women, discover valuable resources, and join us for an evening of empowerment and celebration in our community.

IPL Movie Club – “A League of Their Own”
Thursday, March 21, at 6:00 PM
Come enjoy a movie at the library! The IPL Movie Club shows new releases and old favorites. This month we’ll show A League of Their Own, rated PG, runtime 128 minutes, starring Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Madonna, and Rosie O’Donnell.
