Everyone at the Irondequoit Library would like to congratulate Isabel Tillotson and Alara Diker on their graduation this year, and to thank them for their service as Teen Representatives to the Library Board of Trustees.
During their two-year term, both Isabel and Alara exhibited a knack for collaborating with the Board. They worked together and individually to make meaningful suggestions to improve the library, while also bringing us closer together with the local schools. Isabel and Alara also met with legislators from the Assembly and State Senate in Albany on behalf of the library during the New York Library Association’s Advocacy Day in February 2019.
