Our partnership with Literacy Rochester is expanding once again, and beginning on September 26, they will be joining us in the library’s Computer Lab for Digital Literacy: Free Computer Help three times per week.
These one-on-one tutors will now be available at the library during the following times:
— Every MONDAY from 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM
— Every WEDNESDAY from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:45 PM
— Every FRIDAY from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Digital Literacy provides drop-in service for help with emails, smartphones, resumes, online applications, and much more:
Operate Devices
— Use a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone
— Upload a document to a USB Drive
— Connect to a wireless network
Navigate the Internet
— Create and use an email account
— Find and apply for jobs
— Stay connected with family and friends
Use Software
— Work on Microsoft Office or Google Docs
— Create a resume or cover letter
