Join us tonight, Wednesday, October 19 at 7 PM, as Paul Tantillo, librarian at the Rochester Public Library, investigates Halloween’s Celtic roots and the holiday’s development in the Middle Ages. Halloween frolics developed in 18th and 19th century Ireland and Scotland and then the festival emigrated to America. Tantillo will also bring a sample of vintage Halloween collectibles for patrons to view.
The program will be held at the Helen McGraw Branch, 2180 E. Ridge Road.
