The Irondequoit Public Library Foundation is looking for new members to continue providing the library with the funds needed to both maintain as well as enhance our Library.  No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a keen interest in moving our Library forward.

Irondequoit Public Library Foundation FAQ

What is the Foundation and what does it do?
— The Foundation is a non-profit organization that, in collaboration with the Library, provides funding for capital improvements for the library.  Examples of Foundation funded items include the Maker’s Lab, STEAM Lab, Ancestry.com access, improvements to staff areas, and more.
— The Foundation will be embarking on a fundraising campaign later this year to greatly improve the Children’s Room, making it a more inviting space for the children.   Be a part of this new and exciting project!!

How often does the Foundation Meet?
— Meetings are typically held every two months both in person (over the Summer) and Zoom (during the Winter months).
— During fundraising efforts, members may meet more often.
