The Irondequoit Public Library Foundation is adding a member to its Board of Directors. The Foundation raises funds and manages an endowment for capital projects and other special needs of the Library.
The ideal board member is someone who shares our dedication to furnishing our library with state of the art technology; comfortable furnishings; a wide-ranging variety of media (books, movies and music, computers and in-demand programs); and inviting spaces for programming and community gatherings.
The Board of the IPL Foundation meets formally once a year, typically in the Fall, and transacts most of its business at other times via email.
