The Irondequoit Library would like to add another volunteer to our Bookstore team. As a member of the Bookstore team, your primary duties would include:

— Sorting and pricing donations, as well as stocking shelves
— Collaborating and creating rotating displays
— Participating in weekly meetings

Desired skills include:

— Ability to create signs incorporating words and images using the library’s computers and printers
— Ability and interest in researching the value of rare and books using the library’s computers

The Ideal volunteer will be able to commit 6-8 hours per week over one weekday and one weekend day with the possibility of more days and hours if desired and needed, as well as have the physical capability to lift and push up to 40 pounds. The volunteer must work collaboratively within established procedures.
