The Monroe County Library System’s eBook collection is now compatible with the Kindle eReader. To borrow eBooks on your Kindle, follow these step-by-step instructions:
- Visit the OverDrive eBook Catalog.
- Browse and check out a Kindle book.
- Click “Add to Digital Cart” to begin the checkout process.
- After the eBook is checked out, click “Get Kindle Book” and the Amazon.com website will open.
- Select a Kindle device or Kindle reading app. Click the “Get Library Book” button and sync your device or app to download the book, or choose to send it to your device via USB. You may be required to sign in with your Amazon.com account if you are not already logged in.
- An active Wi-Fi connection is required for wireless delivery to a Kindle device. The books are not delivered via Kindle’s 3G connection.
