Please join the Irondequoit Library and Episcopal SeniorLife Communities on Wednesday, October, at 12:00 PM, for the next Lunch & Learn program.

Each month, Episcopal SeniorLife Communities will coordinate an informational presentation at the Irondequoit Library featuring local experts from trusted community organizations and institutions. Future events will hopefully include presentations from physical therapists, financial advisors, social workers, doctors, artists, and business executives.

Attendees will also have the option of purchasing a boxed lunch for $8.00 (payable in cash at the event). This month’s lunch includes a turkey harvest wrap, roasted brussel sprout slaw, apple, and bottled water.

In October, Lunch & Learn will host a presentation from Lifespan about How to Choose a Medicare Plan. Attendees will learn all about…

— 2026 premiums, deductibles, and co-insurance costs
— Details and review the Medicare Advantage and Medigap Plans in your area
— Examples of comparing Medicare Advantage and Medigap plans to determine which best meets your specific needs
— How Part D works (including the donut hole)
— Instruction on how to use Medicare’s Plan Finder tool to determine which plans cover your prescription drugs at the lowest cost

All Lunch & Learn presentations are free and open to the public. Please register by contacting Julie Montgomery at Episcopal SeniorLife Communities by calling 585-546-8439 (Ext. 1945) or by emailing jmontgomery@EpiscopalSeniorLife.org.
