Pick your favorite Nintendo character and race for the Irondequoit Cup this Saturday, May 16, in the library’s first-ever Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Online Tournament.
Players can compete in up to 24 races from 12:00 Noon through 8:00 PM and your final score will be based on your in-game ranking in each race. The tournament is open to all ages, and players will need a Nintendo Switch, a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service (learn how to sign up for a 7-Day Free Trial) to participate.
You can jump in and play anytime between 12:00 Noon through 8:00 PM on May 16th, and here’s how to sign-in on the day of the big race:
1. Select “Online Play” from the Menu
2. Select “Tournament” from the Menu
3. Select “Search by Code” from the Menu
4. Enter the Tournament Code: 3706-0230-0971
5. Select “Join”
