One of the most profound steps that a library patron can take during National Friends of Libraries Week is also one of the simplest: Join the Friends!

At Irondequoit Public Library, the Friends have made it their business to ensure funding so that the library can continue to offer engaging and high-quality children’s, teen, and adult programs.

These programs that the Friends’ organization support are not covered in the library’s operating budget.

At the “Read More” link below you’ll find the different membership options that are available. All membership fees and donations are tax deductible. You can download a membership application here, pick one up at either of the branches, or visit the Friends page for more information.

  • Individual: $10
  • Family: $15
  • Sponsoring: $25
  • Patron: $50 or above

If you are already a Friend of Irondequoit Public Library, the Friends celebrate and recognize you as one who volunteers their time, resources, and energy to help their library! This is the perfect time to renew you membership, make a donation, or to learn more about volunteering with or joining the Friends of the Library Board.

Please stop by the McGraw or Evans branches this week and visit the Friends’ information table during open hours!
