Tweens and teens interested in yoga can try it out during Embodied Empowerment: Yoga & Movement for Tweens and Teens on Monday, March 10, at 5:00 PM.
Treat your body and mind to self-love, care, and kindness. This specialized yoga class provides a safer, non-competitive space for tweens and teens to practice self-agency, to choose how to be in their body and move freely, to work with their emotions, and de-stress.
No yoga experience is necessary, but if you’d like, feel free to bring a mat or towel to use.
Embodied Empowerment: Yoga & Movement will be presented by Erin Wafer from StretchingKindness, and is designed for tweens and teens between ages 9 and 18. If you’d like to attend, please register now through our Event Calendar.
Funding for this program was provided by Legislative Initiative Funding from State Senator Samra Brouk.
