Are you looking to improve your creative writing? Jennifer Case, a writing teacher who leads classes across Monroe County, will present Writing Workshop: The Craft of Creative Writing at the library in June.

This series aims to teach the techniques that will help you write a better story. In each session you’ll learn about a different aspect of creative writing, including setting, plot development, dialogue, and point of view. Participants will read and discuss short pieces of literature that illustrate each skill, and you’ll get the chance to practice some of your own writing by responding to prompts. All levels of writing experience are welcome.

The next session for Writing Workshop: The Craft of Creative Writing will be held on Monday, June 17, at 2:00 PM. If you’d like to attend, please register now through our Event Calendar.

The final Writing Workshop will be held on June 24th. A separate registration is required for each session.
