Are you looking to improve your creative writing? Jennifer Case, a writing teacher who leads classes across Monroe County, will present Writing Workshop: The Craft of Creative Writing at the library in June.

This series aimed to teach the techniques that will help you write a better story. In each session, participants learned about a different aspect of creative writing, including setting, plot development, dialogue, and point of view. The group read and discussed short pieces of literature that illustrate each skill, and got the chance to practice some of their own writing by responding to prompts.

The final session for Writing Workshop: The Craft of Creative Writing will be held on Monday, June 24, at 2:00 PM. If you’d like to attend, please register now through our Event Calendar. All levels of writing experience are welcome.
