Knowing when your child is ready to stay home alone is a difficult decision, but preparation can make the transition much easier for you and your child. EPIC Trainings: Home Alone Safety is a 90-minute class designed to teach participants who are home alone the importance of behaving responsibly.

During this class, you’ll learn about first aid, what to do when a stranger calls or comes to the door, Internet safety, and how to react during a variety of miscellaneous emergencies (such as power outages and fires).

EPIC Trainings: Home Alone Safety is designed for tweens (ages 8-13), and will be held on Monday, August 4, at 10:30 AM. If you’d like to attend, please register through our Event Calendar.

Funding for this program was provided by Legislative Initiative Funding from State Senator Samra Brouk.
