We’re welcoming Joyce Martelli to the library as part of the next edition of our Art Instruction With the Irondequoit Art Club series. In this hands-on workshop, she’ll teach attendees how to create a Pamphlet Stitch Journal/Sketchbook. This class will teach you how to cut and stitch your own journal/sketchbook using the pamphlet stitch. You’ll also learn how to glue signatures together to make multiple signature books.
All supplies will be provided.
Joyce is a fiber artist and is involved in almost anything fiber. Her main focus is the creation of spirit dolls, handmade baskets, quilts, and book arts. She has taught several classes in book art, art quilting, and combining art with spirituality.
