The Irondequoit Historical Society will welcome Kathy Connor, the Curator of the George Eastman Legacy Collection, on Thursday, October 6, at 7:00 PM.

As part of a presentation about The Women in George Eastman’s Life, Kathy will talk about all the important women in George Eastman’s life, starting with his widowed mother and many lady friends over the years. Kathy will also talk about the “Kodak Girls” and the infamous “Lobster Quartet” that regularly dined with him at his home on lobster (and while they listened to organ music).

Kathy Connor has worked at the George Eastman House for 40 years, and in her position as the Curator of the George Eastman Legacy Collection, she is responsible for the care and maintenance of the Colonial Revival style mansion. This includes all aspects of the collection, as well as care and interpretation for over 200,000 artifacts.

No registration is required for this presentation, and if you have any questions about the Irondequoit Historical Society, please direct them to Ellen Fleche at (585) 342-6185.
