Retired professor David Schuler is coming back to present another travelogue about a very unique and interesting international locale. David will talk about Croatia: Gems of the Adriatic Coast and Dalmatian Isles on Thursday, November 12, at 6:30 PM.

During this travelogue, attendees will begin their photographic tour on the Istrian Peninsula, visiting the Roman Amphitheatre at Pula and the charming Venetian-inspired town of Rovinj. After briefly stopping inland to hike through the scenic wonder of Plitvice Lakes National Park, we’ll continue along the coast to Split with its famous Diocletian Palace.

From Split we’ll take ferries to explore the stunningly beautiful islands of Hvar and Korçula, and finally make our way to Dubrovnik, Croatia’s Pearl of the Adriatic, where we walk its medieval wall and explore its UNESCO designated old town. Simply put, Croatia’s Adriatic coast is spectacular.

If you’d like to attend this travelogue, please register now through our Event Calendar.

Funding for this program was provided by the American Rescue Plan Act.
