Sara Gallagher is an artist in the Rochester area who mainly uses watercolors and liquid acrylics. Sara’s paintings are lucid, introverted reflections of her American milieu.
She envisages the transparent emotions and memories we feel and weighs them against reverberations on the opaque physical forms and spaces we occupy.
Her fluid, min-max style encourages the eye to move and engages your brain while providing some silent space to rest, contemplate and inject one’s own experiences.
She is a graduate of RIT in Rochester, NY and also holds a certificate in costume studies from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Sara Gallagher’s studio is located in the Charlotte area on Boxart Street.
Irondequoit Art Club Lecture with Artist Sara Gallagher will be held on Tuesday, November 26th, at 7:00 PM.
