A Master Gardener from the Cornell Cooperative Extension will visit the library on Tuesday, August 22, at 7:00 PM, to lead a presentation about Monarch Butterflies.

The population of monarch butterflies has plummeted and there are concerns that they could become extinct. In this program, you’ll learn about the fascinating life cycle of these insects, the multiple threats to their survival, and what upstate New York gardeners can do to help them thrive.

If you’d like to attend this presentation on Monarch Butterflies, please register now through our Online Calendar.
