Mindful Gratitude is a practice that involves cultivating a conscious and appreciative awareness of the present moment while acknowledging and expressing gratitude for the positive aspects of one’s life.

Learn How to Practice Mindful Gratitude during a four-part program series at the library with Laura Gavigan, an educator and mindfulness coach and the founder of Mindful Matters.

This series will introduce you to mindfulness and allow you to practice several skills, including journaling, discussion, and meditation. Each session will include an opening meditation followed by a check-in, a discussion, and mindful gratitude practices. There will be optional readings, additional resources, journal prompts, and videos for those who want to deepen their learning and practice.

The next session for How to Practice Mindful Gratitude will be held on Wednesday, April 17, at 3:00 PM. If you’d like to attend, please register now through our Event Calendar.

Future sessions will be held on April 24th and May 1st. A separate registration is required for each session.
